Welcome

The Ukastle Ukestra

The home of ukulele orchestras in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

We run six weekly Ukestras (ukulele orchestras) for all ages in the Lower Hunter.

Every week The Ukastle Ukestra helps around 200 people to make music and learn, together.

Why do we do this?

Because people need music in their lives, they need it to be fun, and people need to connect in healthy social situations and spaces.

We also do monthly beginner workshops if you’re just getting started, as well as the occasional specialty course to help you skill up and expand your playing.

We hope to play music with you one day (and help you learn and connect with others).
